Re-imagine Borderland of US-Mexico
The border between the United States and Mexico illustrates a deeper reality of the alienation and connection socially and economically between the two countries.
My thesis uses the borderland of San Diego-Tijuana as a testing land to propose a tridimensional border landscape of production, recreation, and ecology. The border is transformed into a line of both security and exchange and offers a new perspective on borders.

Designing New Life In Gravel Pit
I was proposing a new living-production-revitalization pattern by organizing the material flows and land use in a wasted gravel pit while designing a housing program based on the existing typography.
The design strategy is to develop the land through phasing goals.

Installation | Prototype
Bee Nest Analog - Design Prototype
This installation is designed to provide bees in the urban context with more opportunities for living and propagation while helping the study of the living habitat and nest pattern of underground nesting bees and other similar insects.
It intends to allow the representation of multiple variables for the observation and comparison experiment.
The prototype is modeled by Rhinoceros and is made by laser cutting.

Structure Design of 'Seating'
I re-design the structure of a concrete cast bench into a wooden bench and illustrate by 3d modeling the splitting form.

Sketch | Culture

Reverie of Chinese Traditional Garden
I imagined and designed a Chinese traditional garden based on the spirit and descriptions from the work of Pa Ta Shan Ren, a famous painter, and poet from the Ming Dynasty.
Hand Sketch of Garden Design
& Modeling
I sketched and designed the healing garden for Phillip House - a Victoria historical house in North York.
